Easy and cheap painted Pinecone Candy Corn!!!






Lucky for me there is a pine tree next door which drops pine cones on a regular basis. Choose ones that haven't opened up like these:


I used 3 acrylic paint colors, orange, yellow and white, the colors of candy corn, of course.   



Apply 2 coats of paint, allowing the first coat to dry before applying the second coat. (I didn't have orange paint so I mixed red and yellow to get the orange color).



After the second coat dried I added a high gloss finish (I used Martha Stewart's high gloss finish)
to give then them shiny candy look like real candy corn. Then I added them to my fall burlap wreath!!


Yeah! It's October 1st! Time for all things Halloween!!!
